Don't know if you know this but certain types of ultrasound can harm foetus'. There are certain frequencies which encourage growth which can cause mutations and yes it is possible that it could have caused a miscarriage.

...Today after having strong pre-menstrual pain, I miscarried naturally. ... be careful, these techniques can be dangerous to you and your baby.

Caviation treatment while pregnancy is a contraindication. This is more a legal then a health reason. You do also diagnostic ultrasound without any harm to the fetus. If US has an effect, FDA would not allow to use US during pregnancy.

In case you do not know if you are pregnant do not treat the abdomen area.

I was wondering why lactation is a contraindication for Cavitation Ultrasound treatment?

The reason is simple: Fat cells are storing environmental toxins as they are fat solubable. Once spilled off toxins will concentrate in the milk and consequently consumed by the baby.

Same would happen with a stricly diet during lactation pahase.

don't really understand why a pregnant woman would be having cavitation in the first place. surely she'd have better things to worry about than cellulite?!?

- Cavitation & Pregnancy -

Hi,

I am a healthy 30 year old woman, do not smoke, do not drink, I have a balanced diet and practice sports. Unknowingly I have been doing two sessions of cavitation while the first and second week of pregnancy. Today after having strong pre-menstrual pain, I miscarried naturally.

So far I've been very concerned about the side effects that ultrasound might have on the embryo / fetus, I have talked to experts and thanks to God in the early stages of pregnancy if there is anything dangerous to the embrio your body aborts naturally.

What would have happened in a later stage of the pregnancy when the vital organs of the fetus are forming? I doubt anyone can answer this as neither a gynecologist or a hospital's radiology expert where able to help me as they do not understand the side effects of cavitation in pregnancy yet.

Be careful, these techniques can be dangerous to you and your baby.
