Ways to delay aging
According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, coffee, ranks sixth among the top 50 foods that contain antioxidants. Only berries, nuts, strawberries, artichokes and blueberries contain more antioxidants per serving than coffee.
Coffee is a highly consumed beverage in many parts of the world, yet we know little of the benefits given to health. Its main components include antioxidants, substances called polyphenols, which among its various functions protect your cell mutations and one of the ways to delay aging.
These substances, abundant in coffee, clean the body from free radicals and prevent the damage they may cause. Free radicals are particles that are acquired by exposure to smoke snuff or radiation, among other factors.
These can damage body cells and in the long term, can cause alterations in the body (eg cancer). Coffee is one of the most important sources of antioxidants in the diet of many people because they improve the quality of life of the organism.
Antioxidants can help fight cancer and other benefits to alleviate the worsening health as causing the years, we also found in tomatoes, cereals and various fruits and vegetables. The results of studies conducted by the University of Scranton ensure that, on average adult consumes 299 thousand milligrams of antioxidants in coffee, and still well below the tea at 294 milligrams, 76 bananas, dry beans 72 and corn with 48 milligrams.
A moderate intake of coffee in final offers important health benefits and one of the ways to delay aging if complemented by a varied and balanced diet.
